Route of Sant Francisco. The Viewpoints
The valley of Sant Francisco is formed by the ravine with the same name, which starts at the buttresses of La Fatarella mountain range, next to the town, and comes out into the Ebro river.
The route travels along the valley through a landscape influenced by people, which has been shaped by the use of the water that runs through it. There are therefore fountains, vegetable gardens, irrigation systems and water mills.
On leavind the valley, it climbs up towards the Valencians mountain range, were we van find, at first, the Ribera d’Ebre Viewpoint, and, after, the Aragón Viewpoint. The human footprint is evident alog the route by dry stone constructions.
We finish the route at Capella de la Mare de Déu de la Missericordia, called the Terra Alta Viewpoint.
