Olive Oil
An excellent quality virgin olive oil and part of the Terra Alta Designation of Origin. The oil is made mainly from Empeltre variety olives, which are typical of this zone, while Arbequina olives are also prevalent.
Pastries
Although the town's most typical pastry is hazelnut bread cake, other delicious pastries include panadons, capsetes, muntets, corassons, coca fina, ganxets and pastissets.
Cold pork products
Mention must be made of the high quality pork derivatives. These are very well preserved because of La Fatarella's altitude of 500 metres and very favourable conditions for conserving these products.Of note among its pork products are the llonganissa (one of the most widely acknowledged, with a slightly spicy taste, botifarra (sausage) with onion, and white botifarra. Try them and enjoy the quality.
Hazelnuts
A very high-quality product and an essential element in the area's cuisine. It is included in the Avellana de Reus Designation of Origin.
Wine
The wines are included in the Terra Alta Designation of Origin. The grapes used to produce white wines are Garnacha blanca, Macabeo and Parellada, and the reds are made with Garnacha peluda, Tempranillo, Garnacha negra and Cariñena. Its mellow wines are particularly highly valued.
